Houston-based law firm representing homeowners’ associations in construction defect matters seeks an associate. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in a civil litigation practice. We are seeking an early-career attorney interested in developing a long-term practice with the firm. Construction defect experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with general civil litigation experience will be considered.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills and will assist with all phases of litigation involving homeowners’ associations and construction defect matters. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting motions, assisting with depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation. Excellent research and writing skills are essential. The candidate will work directly with firm leadership and attorneys in the Houston office. A willingness to learn this practice area, a solid work ethic, and a positive attitude are essential.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
