Restaurant Server (Part-Time)

Position Overview Latitude Margaritaville WaterSound is currently seeking Part‑Time Servers to join our team. The Server is at the forefront of resident interaction with the dining program, supporting daily restaurant and bar operations, as well as catering and special events. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Prepare the restaurant for lunch/dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins, and utensils. Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Explain the chef's specialties, identify appropriate wines, and answer food preparation questions. Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations. Record resident choices and transmit orders to bar and kitchen, noting special dietary needs. Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ selections from bar and kitchen. Respond to additional patron requirements and observe dining processes. Maintain table settings, remove finished courses, replenish utensils, refill water glasses, and address spills. Open and pour wine at the tableside. Collect revenue, issue bills, accept payment, and return credit card slips to residents. Contribute to team efforts and accomplish related tasks as needed. Perform basic cleaning tasks or other duties directed by a supervisor. Fluently fill in for absent staff and assist with special events. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently. Pretend address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary. Daily Operations and Customer Experience Maintain a high level of resident contact throughout service hours. Build strong teams through ongoing supervision, training, coaching, counseling, and leadership. Create an engaging environment that reflects the Margaritaville Latitude Lifestyle. Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules. Maintain a pristine dining area at all times. Education High School Graduate or GED preferred. Experience Previous serving experience required. Excellent oral communication skills required. Positive interpersonal skills required. Food Handlers Card. Good telephone speaking and listening ability. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Willing to work nights and weekends. Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. Strong communication skills (listening, verbal, and written). Organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills. Problem‑solving skills and common sense. Team player who can work independently. Compensation and Work Schedule $12.00 per hour plus tips. Part‑time (20–29 hours per week). Weekend and holiday availability required. Open availability required.
