Patient Escort (Houston, TX)

A-Line Staffing is hiring  Patient Escorts to support hospital and ambulatory patient transport services in  Houston, TX . This is an  on-site, full-time role supporting patient entry points and clinic destinations.

Pay

• $16.50 per hour

What you’ll do

• Escort patients by  wheelchair, stretcher, or hydraulic stretcher to appointments/destinations.
• Complete  daily disinfection & tracking logs for each transport (date/time, equipment tag, disinfectant used, destination, etc.).
• Sanitize equipment prior to each patient using the high-touch disinfection/inspection protocol.
• Assist patients  on/off equipment safely and professionally.
• Provide  courteous, compassionate customer service to patients and caregivers.
• Navigate a large campus independently while following directions and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 1+ year patient care or patient escort experience (hospital setting preferred)
• Strong customer service background
• Ability to  push at least 200 lbs (role may require pushing up to 250 lbs )
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Schedule / shifts

• Full-Time: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (1 opening)
• Full-Time: 11:45 AM – 8:15 PM (1 opening)
• Rotating weekends and some holidays

Training (mandatory): Monday–Friday daytime schedule (approx. 6:45 AM–3:15 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM ) for up to 3 weeks , regardless of assigned shift.

Additional details

• May be asked to support  additional locations outside the main campus.
• Parking is at the employee’s expense.
• Dress code and infection-control standards apply.
