Implementation Engineers is seeking a Business Development Executive to help industrial organizations solve their toughest operational challenges. This is an opportunity to leverage your industry experience, professional network, and business acumen to develop executive relationships and introduce clients to solutions that deliver measurable business results.

This is not a transactional sales role.

It’s a consultative business development position where your operational experience, credibility, and ability to engage executive leaders are far more valuable than traditional sales experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll build executive relationships with industrial organizations across North America, helping leaders identify opportunities to improve operational performance and accelerate business transformation.

You’ll leverage both your existing professional network and qualified opportunities generated through Implementation Engineers’ marketing and business development efforts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing relationships with executive leaders across industrial organizations
• Leveraging your professional network to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Conducting executive discovery conversations with inbound and outbound prospects generated through our sales and marketing initiatives
• Understanding client challenges related to operations, engineering, maintenance & reliability, supply chain, digital manufacturing, organizational performance, and business transformation
• Collaborating with our implementation teams to develop tailored solutions for clients
• Introducing clients to our Program Design Phase (PDP), which frequently serves as the starting point for larger implementation engagements
• Building long-term client relationships founded on trust, credibility, and measurable results

This is a consultative business development role focused on solving business problems -- not selling products.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking professionals who have built credibility leading operational improvement within industrial organizations and who are excited to leverage that experience in a strategic, client-facing role.

Ideal candidates have held leadership roles in industrial operations such as Plant Manager, Operations Manager or Director, Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence Leader, Lean Leader, Maintenance or Reliability Manager, Supply Chain Leader, Plant Engineer, Industrial Consultant, or Technical Sales Executive with deep operational expertise. Above all, we’re looking for professionals who have built credibility improving industrial operations and can confidently engage executive leaders as trusted advisors.

Successful candidates will possess :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Petroleum, or related discipline)
• MBA strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within industrial operations, engineering, supply chain, maintenance & reliability, continuous improvement, or operational excellence
• Demonstrated success leading operational improvement, business transformation, or digital manufacturing initiatives
• Strong understanding of industrial operations and the challenges facing today’s manufacturing and industrial organizations
• Executive presence with exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
• Strong business acumen and a consultative, solution-oriented mindset
• An established professional network within industrial organizations
• The credibility and confidence to engage senior executives as a trusted advisor and identify opportunities to create measurable business value
