The facility is an acute care center known for its diverse specialties, including cardiovascular, orthopedics, and pediatrics. It is regarded as a regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care. The nurse will work within a dynamic operating room environment, providing patient care during surgical procedures. The OR team consists of a close-knit group, fostering a friendly and engaging environment. The role involves a patient ratio of 1:1 in the operating room. The typical procedures include a variety of surgeries such as cataracts, knee arthroscopies, hernia surgeries, and more. Candidates with greater than 1 year of experience, particularly in ambulatory surgery or holding a CNOR certification, will be preferred. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including late call duties as necessary.
