Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals and other therapists, to create integrated care strategies that encompass the client's overall health.

• Educate clients and their family members about home exercise programs and daily activities that can supplement therapy and promote long-term health maintenance.

• Adhere to state and federal regulations and maintain professional standards, ensuring compliance in all aspects of your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on serving a diverse client base, including elderly individuals and those recovering from surgery or injury. Our therapists are highly skilled in addressing the unique challenges faced by the geriatric population, implementing compassionate and effective treatment modalities that respect their individual lifestyles and preferences.

Qualifications

• A current Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master's Degree or Doctorate from an accredited institution preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential to build relationships with clients and collaborate with team members.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development and the pursuit of continuing education in physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience
