Job Title: RN – Nurse Educator

Location: New York, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift – 5x7 Hours

Compensation:

• Local Candidate Pay: $76–$79/hr
• Traveler Candidate Pay: $94–$96/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Nurse Educator to support clinical education, staff development, and nursing training initiatives within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Med/Surg clinical background and experience guiding nursing students and staff through educational and clinical development programs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical education and training to nursing staff and healthcare professionals
• Guide and supervise students during clinical rotations
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing education programs and curricula
• Support hospital research and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Deliver educational sessions, workshops, and competency-based training programs
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge, certifications, and nursing best practices
• Evaluate learner progress and provide mentorship and feedback
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes and staff development
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and educational standards
• Maintain accurate educational records and documentation

Required Qualifications:Education:

• Master’s Degree in Education required

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active New York State RN License
• Current BLS Certification

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Strong clinical nursing background required
• Experience in nursing education, staff development, or clinical instruction preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong teaching, mentoring, and presentation skills
• Knowledge of curriculum development and clinical education principles
• Ability to guide and evaluate nursing students and staff
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
