S – Success – to inspire and encourage achievement. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in English or a related field from an accredited college or university. Three years of related teaching experience in a field that demonstrates the ability to teach ESOL. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in TESOL, Linguistics, or Bilingual Education preferred. Instructional experience, preferably with an ethnically diverse urban population. Ability to work with individuals in an enthusiastic and encouraging way; excellent oral and written communication skills. Responsibilities Conduct classes in academic areas, including ESOL I, II, III, Reading Preparation, and Academic Preparation. Prepare all necessary reports. Meet with Associate Coordinator of Instructional Services or Counselor when necessary. Perform related duties as described in the Faculty Handbook/Faculty Agreement.
