Senior Art Director

Accenture Song is seeking a Senior Art Director to shape brand solutions and visual systems from concept through delivery. This onsite role in Houston, TX blends hands-on design work with leadership across an interdisciplinary agency team, partnering with UX, copywriters, strategists, and development to produce solutions that are on brand and ready for stakeholder review. You will lead visual direction by owning concepts, developing design systems, and guiding designers, production staff, and vendors. The work includes crafting typography, logos, icons, and broader visual systems, then presenting and defending creative approaches to both internal teams and clients. What you’ll do Work under the direction of Creative Directors to own visual concepts and solutions that address creative challenges while maintaining or improving design workflow Oversee and stay hands-on in the creation of visual designs and systems, including typography, logos, and icons Apply design principles across color, typography, photographic selection, organization of elements, and usability Concept and design solutions that align with the brief , remain on brand , and leverage brand style guides, strategic principles, and templates Author new brand styles and guidelines Concept, assign, and direct designers, production staff, and vendors to fulfill the creative vision Prepare flawless deliverables for handoff to developers, producers, and clients Present and defend solutions to creatives, UX, developers, account leaders, and clients Lead and mentor more junior designers and art directors, contributing to their growth Thrive in interdisciplinary collaboration and lead brand style workshop sessions Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams What you bring At least 6 years of work experience in an agency environment A portfolio showing at least 4 years of compelling visual solutions, design and interactive experiences, with diverse experience, understanding of current visual trends, and current aesthetic sensibility At least 4 years using Photoshop and Illustrator At least 3 years using Sketch , Adobe XD , and/or Figma , plus strong written and verbal communication skills At least 3 years of cross-channel content creation across social, email, and digital Tools you’ll use Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, PowerPoint Compensation and time off The role offers a salary range of USD 59,100 - 145,400 per year .
