Job Title: Dietary Cook | Job Location: Warr Acres Nursing Center, Oklahoma, United States

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients, residents, and staff. Your attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work efficiently will help us deliver an exceptional culinary experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold meals, including special dietary needs and cultural requirements

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards

  • Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement menu cycles, ensuring nutritional balance and patient satisfaction

  • Manage inventory and ordering of food, supplies, and equipment

  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, promoting a fresh and exciting dining experience

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that patients, residents, and staff receive prompt and courteous service

  • Maintain accurate records, including food inventory, meal production, and customer feedback

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; formal culinary training or experience a plus

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods, with frequent walking and kneeling

  • Food handling and sanitation certification (or willingness to obtain)
