Accounting: Accounting Assistant

An ideal candidate for our open Accounting Assistant is an individual who performs productively in a fast-paced work environment, possesses strong communication skills, and learns new tasks quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Job Description Maintain and update financial tracking documents and support audit-related activities Assist with onboarding new projects, including system setup and documentation management Organize and maintain contracts, amendments, and other key records Track updates and changes related to projects, supporting billing and revenue processes Prepare and process transactions, ensuring timely and accurate data entry Support order processing and coordination with internal teams Assist with invoices, reconciliation, and general accounts receivable activities Maintain organized documentation and ensure records are up to date and compliant Core Requirements Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years’ work experience Working knowledge of accounting principles Strong mathematical skills to complete financial tasks quickly and accurately Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems Strong customer service, communication, and organization skills Desired Clinical/medical industry experience would be advantageous Experience with international banking and conversions a plus Canfield Imaging Systems is the world-leading developer of specialized photographic systems for medical practices, institutions, research organizations, and pharmaceutical suppliers. The anticipated salary range for the position is $21.00-$26.00 per hour. This is dependent upon consideration of multiple factors when determining a base salary such as a candidate’s experience, education, and current market conditions.
