Senior Accountant Senior Accountant - Construction

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with expertise in the construction industry to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage project budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and experience in construction-related financial management, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions related to construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the construction industry.
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and expenditures, providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate audits and ensure the accuracy of financial records for construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, specifically in construction accounting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with project management software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
