Design Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

\n
• Design severe and general service control valves to customer specifications and internal design standards
\n
• Select appropriate materials and hardware
\n
• Prepare and review detailed SolidWorks assemblies and bills of material
\n
• Release Work Orders to manufacturing/assembly
\n
• Review customer design specifications and ensure compliance
\n
• Maintain design library and project document files
\n
• Prepare and revise valve drawings
\n
• Provide technical support to customers, vendors, and production personnel
\n
• Write test procedures to meet internal and customer requirements
\n
• Work to internal deadlines for engineering deliverables
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Working knowledge of MS Office
\n
• Advanced CAD Software (SolidWorks preferred)
\n
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
\n
• Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings
\n
• Knowledge of mechanical design and simulation /analysis
\n
• Basic understanding of thermodynamics
\n
• Basic understanding in principles of flow as well as fluid statics/dynamics
\n
• Basic understanding of properties of engineering materials
\n
