Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Our client is looking for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to take a leadership role in engineering projects, product design, customer support, and project execution. This position offers the opportunity to lead engineering initiatives, work across departments, and influence projects from concept through completion.

What You'll Do

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from design through completion

• Coordinate engineering activities, schedules, project tracking, and cost control

• Review product designs, drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation

• Work directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver engineering solutions

• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Project Management

• Provide technical direction and support to engineering personnel

• Develop and maintain engineering procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements

• Support project budgets ranging from $250K to $1.5M

• Identify opportunities to improve design efficiency, quality, and project execution

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; equivalent education and experience considered

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience

• Experience in Engineer-to-Order, custom equipment, or manufacturing environments

• Strong mechanical design and engineering skills

• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Preferred Experience

• MS Project or similar scheduling software

• Autodesk Inventor

• 3D CAD software

• Engineering project budgeting and cost management

• Experience providing technical leadership to engineering teams
