Radiologic Technologist

Responsible for performing quality radiographs, CT scans, and mammography procedures, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety. Must be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team. The role includes standby and after-hours/weekend/holiday callback duties to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Execute diagnostic radiographs, CT scans, and mammograms according to established protocols.
• Maintain high standards of image quality and patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage scheduling, protocolling, and answering phone inquiries related to imaging procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain equipment properly.
• Participate in on-call, standby, and after-hours imaging assignments as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold an AS degree in radiologic technology and current ARRT certification.
• Possess a valid California Radiologic Technology license (CRT).
• Maintain current BLS CPR certification.
• Be capable of learning and performing CT and/or Mammography; passing the respective registry within one year (two years if both).
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiography techniques, safety protocols, and patient care.
