As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Hollister, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Pay Rate: $23.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, processing guest check-ins, issuing badges, and directing individuals according to site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Support front desk operations by maintaining accurate visitor logs, documenting security-related activity, answering phones, and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or access requests.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity by maintaining a visible front desk presence and reporting suspicious behavior or policy concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
