Senior Safety Management System Program Advisor

Responsibilities Take part in FAA acceptance of the SMS for type certification. Support conducting and coaching subject matter experts in risk or hazard assessments across a wide range of tasks. Help support problem–solving activities at the system level. Coordinate Safety Risk Management, Assurance and Promotion. Lead and train disparate teams to ensure SMS implementation and effectiveness. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; an engineering or aviation safety background is a plus. At least 12 years of aviation experience. Flight, system test, certification or production experience desired. 5 years of experience in safety risk management. Experience working in FAA or military or other regulated environments (e.g., 121, 135, airport, test). Hands‑on experience and thought leadership in safety risk management, internal safety communications, and data visualizations. Conducted safety investigations and retrospectives. Willingness to travel 10% of the time. Employment Details Job type: Full‑time. Role is onsite at the Hollister office. Location: Wisk HQ is located in Mountain View, CA.
