Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Trusted Support Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing relationship difficulties, mental health disorders, and life transitions. Your role will involve addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, and communication challenges, providing a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and develop healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid LMFT license in the state of New York.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in outpatient mental health settings is essential.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities is highly desirable, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and empathic skills are necessary to build rapport and effectively support clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is four years of experience, candidates with additional training in trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, or specific family therapy techniques will be favored. Experience working with marginalized communities or specific populations, including children and adolescents, will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience.
