Account Executive, Brand Partnerships (West Coast)

About the Role

The role leads revenue growth for the company's branded content and social media business across the West Coast. Reporting to the VP, Brand Partnerships, it represents the company's content and media business in the marketplace and sells a portfolio of social-first advertising solutions. The position carries an individual revenue target and involves managing an assigned book of business across brands and agencies. It partners closely with internal teams including Creative Strategy, Marketing, Insights, Production, Content, and Account Management.
Key Responsibilities

Represent the company's content and media business in the marketplace.
Manage a substantial account list consisting of both new business prospects and existing brand and agency partners to drive revenue growth.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior-level marketers, media buyers, social leads, content decision-makers, and agency stakeholders throughout the West Coast.
Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outreach, networking, client referrals, and industry events.
Sell integrated marketing programs spanning social-first branded content, creator and influencer partnerships, original series integrations, sponsorships, short-form and long-form video, paid social amplification, custom content production, audience-driven storytelling solutions
And digital media partnerships.
Partner with the VP, Brand Partnerships on client outreach, strategic account development, RFP responses, and proactive opportunities.
Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, account management, insights, programming, production, and media planning teams throughout all phases of the sales cycle.
Develop creative, culturally relevant programs that help brands authentically engage audiences across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and emerging platforms.
Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through negotiation, closing, and post-sale transition.
Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Required Experience & Qualifications

4+ years of successful experience in digital media, branded content, creator marketing, social media, sports media, or advertising sales.
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Strong understanding of the branded content, influencer marketing, and social media ecosystem.
Passion for sales, digital media, branded content, and innovative storytelling.
Strong interest in sports, entertainment, culture, and social trends.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Highly organised, proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented.
Enjoys the creative process and working alongside content, production, and strategy teams to bring ideas to life.
Preferred Skills

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Existing relationships with West Coast agencies and brand marketers strongly preferred.
Entrepreneurial seller with a passion for social media, content, sports, entertainment, creator culture, and building long-term client relationships.
