About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Insurance Business Unit Risk Management to lead a team of Risk Officers supporting its diverse portfolio of insurance businesses. The successful candidate will be a practical, business-minded risk leader with a strong background in risk management, particularly within the insurance, banking, asset management, or related industries. This role is pivotal in deepening the company's risk management engagement with its insurance businesses, and the ideal candidate will be adept at applying risk expertise with flexibility and pragmatism to actively support business strategies. Key responsibilities include team leadership, business partnership, risk oversight, and driving the modernization of risk management support, with a focus on technology, data, and AI-driven approaches. Applicants for the Head of Insurance Business Unit Risk Management position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' relevant experience and a proven track record of leading teams and partnering with executives. The role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of business operations, and the ability to influence and manage relationships at the senior executive level.
