We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to play an important role in supporting our team and contributing to positive employee experiences.
Day to Day:
- Oversee the full-cycle hiring process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and communication with applicants and hiring managers.
- Work closely with department leaders to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, establish hiring criteria, and determine competitive compensation ranges.
- Develop and maintain effective hiring strategies to attract qualified talent across interior design, project management, operations, and administrative departments.
- Coordinate with external staffing agencies and represent the company at job fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities to support ongoing talent needs.
- Assist with interviews, reference checks, background screenings, and the preparation of employment offer, including compensation, start dates, and other hiring details.
- Support the administration of HR programs related to performance management, employee training and development, workplace safety, recognition, and overall employee engagement.
- Help maintain company policies, procedures, and the employee handbook while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with leadership and team members to address HR-related needs, communicate policy updates, and promote a positive and productive workplace.
- Coordinate company events and employee activities, including holiday parties, team lunches, company picnics, and other initiatives that strengthen workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Professional certification in Human Resources, such as SHRM-CP or an HRCI credential, is a plus.
