Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Stuarts Draft, Virginia

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support healthcare operations as a Pharmacy Technician during a per diem assignment from June 15 to June 26 in Charlottesville, VA. This role involves ensuring the accurate distribution of medications and offering essential information to patients, emphasizing exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized health practitioners.
Provide accurate, clear information to customers regarding medication usage and safety.
Deliver high-quality customer service, fostering a supportive and knowledgeable environment.
Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Virginia.
Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
