3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator for our 3rd shift team responsible for operating various machines to manufacture firefighting equipment, including handline nozzles, apparatus valves, fittings, industrial valves, adapters, caps, and plugs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture firefighting equipment.
• Perform quality checks to ensure high standards.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required during operations.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of machine operating experience.
• Experience performing quality checks.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of setup, change outs, offsets, and operation of CNC Lathe machinery, Okuma preferred.
• Proficiently read and interpret blueprints with up to 100 dimensions.
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Experience with tight tolerances up to +/-.001.
• Understanding of G & M codes.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkhart, IN.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $24.13/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
