Details Work in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) unit of a hospital setting 84-bed unit staffed with Charge/CNC Nurses, RNs, Unit Secretaries, and RRTs Patient ratios of 2:1 in NICU and 3:1 in NSCU Uses equipment including Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, and ECG monitors (Philips, GE) EMR system used is Neonatal Notes Manager / Meditech 13-week seasonal assignment with a 7P-7A night shift schedule Unit performs procedures such as IV therapy, whole body cooling, surgical cases (NEC, PDA, CVC), PDA ligations, high frequency ventilation, and chest tube placement Requirements Active KS or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU hospital experience required BLS and NRP certifications required Level IV NICU experience preferred Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred Experience in large teaching facilities preferred US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide neonatal intensive care nursing support with a focus on developmental supportive care Support Family Centered Care and deliver an exceptional patient experience Strong team player with excellent communication skills preferred Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates will not be considered One professional reference is required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-735977.
