Train to Become a Specialist

Unlike traditional home care agencies, we are developing specialized training pathways designed to help caregivers gain expertise in specific conditions and populations.

Training opportunities include:

Dementia & Alzheimer's Care Specialist

Learn effective communication techniques, behavior management strategies, safety practices, and methods for supporting individuals experiencing memory loss.

Parkinson's Care Specialist

Learn how to support mobility, balance, exercise routines, daily living activities, and quality of life for individuals living with Parkinson's disease.

Stroke Recovery Specialist

Develop skills that help clients regain independence and confidence while recovering from stroke-related challenges.

Veteran Care Specialist

Learn how to better understand and support those who have served our country while helping veterans remain independent in their own homes.

Complex Care Specialist

Gain experience supporting individuals living with multiple chronic conditions and higher levels of care needs.

Disability Support Specialist

Learn techniques for assisting adults and young adults with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, and Katie Beckett program participants.

Hospice & End-of-Life Support

Receive training focused on comfort, dignity, family support, and compassionate care during life's most challenging moments.

What You'll Do

Depending on client needs, caregivers may assist with:

• Personal care and hygiene assistance

• Bathing and grooming

• Dressing assistance

• Meal preparation

• Medication reminders

• Mobility and transfer assistance

• Transportation and errands

• Companionship and emotional support

• Dementia and memory support

• Community outings and engagement

• Light housekeeping

• Respite care for family caregivers

• Safety supervision and fall prevention

Most importantly, you will help clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Realistic Job Preview

This work is meaningful, but it is not always easy.
