Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job TitleResponsibilitiesAssemble small to large electrical and mechanical components. Including routing wires and installing low-voltage electrical and electronic components such as circuit boards, communication (CAT5) and power cables, terminal boxes, main control switch panels, and instrument panels to be used in higher-level assembliesInterpret bill of materials and read basic blueprints and schematics following written proceduresTroubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic/electrical operating systemsComplete assigned tasks with little supervisionQualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalent with experience working in an industrial manufacturing environmentElectro-mechanical assembly experience preferred, including experience with Ohm/volt meters and measuring devices such as calipers and dial indicators, the ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics, and attention to detail and electro-mechanical troubleshootingExperience working with soldering and testing connectionsExperience working on larger electrical componentsBasic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Relevant experience could also include electrical maintenance on vehicles, experience installing/repairing/troubleshooting electrical installations (wiring in a building, alarm systems, telecom, etc.)Preferred Experience:Experience with and exposure to 5S and Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principlesVocational or accredited certification within the electro-mechanical fieldMust be able to pass drug testing and background checks
