- 5 years or more working experience in HR role.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or Equivalent combination of education and experience thereof.
- ADP payroll experience and benefits administration for both salaried and hourly employees.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies & best practices; labor law and relations required.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to multi-task & prioritize.
- Self-Directed, ability to work independently and maintain integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information related to wages, employee relations, HR records, immigration, etc.,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe. Accurate typing skills and MS Word formatting knowledge.
- Manage day-to-day HR Operations to include but not limited to: employee on-boarding; orientation; off-boarding and exit formalities, HR policies and processes, benefits administration (open enrollment, leaves, garnishments; medical; dental; vision; life; 401K; COBRA, etc.), HR Compliance, employee handbook, legal responsibilities, etc.
- Streamline the existing processes and implement new measures to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor, develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures and ensure the company is in compliance with all EEO, benefits, federal, state and local employment, payroll, wage hour laws & regulations and best practices.
- Maintaining records on HRIS system by updating and entering data. Maintaining current files, databases and administrative protocols and perform audits of systems for accuracy and lead transition for new HRIS/different PEO if needed.
- Act as a liaison between the company and external benefits providers which may include health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Submits background checks and conducts background check investigations as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Support semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP.
- Foster positive employer-employee relationship; employee engagement and retention. Ensure that employee relation issues, including the investigation and resolution of employee complaints, are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Organize and deliver HR Newsletter content to ensure that all relevant information is disseminated and company-wide communication is maintained.
- Coordinate immigration paperwork with the employee, the supervisor, and the company's attorney. Ensures all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain immigration and non-immigration compliance paperwork, monitor immigration management system to track deadlines and visa expirations with 100% accuracy.
- Command of contracts management lifecycle, vendor agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
