Job Title: Wiring Technician Job Summary

• Seeking a detail‑oriented Wiring Technician to support assembly and wiring of electrical products in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Responsible for building high‑quality switchboards, panelboards, and related assemblies
• Ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints/schematics and demonstrates strong safety, accuracy, and quality focus

• Assemble and wire electrical components as per blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Build switchboards, panelboards, copper bussing, and related electrical systems
• Interpret front views, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and CAD-based documents
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches safely and accurately
• Inspect materials and assemblies for defects, damage, spacing, and alignment
• Identify missing or nonconforming components and assist in issue resolution
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE (safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection)
• Track work progress and communicate updates, shortages, and issues
• Use computer systems to access engineering designs and instructions
• Contribute to process improvements for efficiency, quality, and workflow

• Experience in electrical or mechanical assembly within manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and BOMs
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches
• Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Problem-solving skills related to assembly and component issues
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills

• Experience with switchgear, panelboards, or electrification products
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
• Experience working with electrical wiring systems and components

• Manufacturing shop setting with exposure to machinery and electrical components
• Strict adherence to safety standards and mandatory PPE usage

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hanover,MD.
