What you'll work on here Work with complex geometries from across the industry. You'll get real parts from aerospace and automotive customers with degenerate faces, 400-feature castings and geometry that breaks every clean assumption in the literature. Figuring out what's dimensionable, and what a machinist actually needs to see, is the core problem. Get from ideas in brainstorms to working prototype fast and then deliver a solution that survives a Fortune 100 QA department. We ship fast and we don't merge code no human on the team can defend. Optimize for speed and correctness in computational geometry algorithms. Extracting features, resolving datums, placing dimensions on a sheet without collisions. everything here has a solution somewhere. The job is making it run in seconds and be right EVERY time. No one knows how to unit‑test a 3D → 2D understanding. This is where you get to build and maintain testing suites that are agent fluent, non‑brittle and deliver accurate proof of work. Online learning from the continuous streams of data we produce. Every drawing an engineer corrects is a labeled example. Build the machinery that turns that stream into a system that's measurably better for the next 100 drawings than it is today. What are we looking in you You're fluent in Python and can drop into C++ when the profiler says you have to. Rust, Go, or frontend work is a bonus. You've built something hard that you didn't have to. A renderer, a solver, a physics engine, a compiler, a game from scratch. We care much more about this than your job titles. You have taste about correctness. You know the difference between a test that proves something and a test that just remembers what the code did last Tuesday. You use coding agents heavily and have opinions about where they fail. You've felt the specific pain of an agent confidently producing plausible garbage, and you have a system for catching it. You can talk to a mechanical engineer without translating everything to software first. You don't need to know GD&T on day one, but you need to want to. We don't care about your degree, your years of experience, or whether you've ever opened a CAD file. Two of the strongest people here hadn't touched one before joining.
