As an Assembly Operator (Production Associate) for the EODAS factory, your job will be to build next generation technology for the warfighter. You will perform a variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment. This position will require the passing of certifications, with the ability to train others in assembly processes once certified. The operator is expected to cross-train for other areas and be engaged with daily production activities that drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and schedule performance. Experience using shop floor management software (CMES, SAP, etc.) or similar. This is an on-site position at our McKinney, TX location, working 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm). This position will require to work limited overtime when needed. What You Will Do Work in a cleanroom environment, performing mechanical assembly using various tools and fasteners. Types of hardware include: machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies. Use chemicals and perform detailed hand manipulation with wire sleeving, solder, and bonding materials. Use precision torque tools, solder, repair and/or inspect electric and mechanical systems. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
