Outpatient Registered Dietitian Nutritionist – Part-Time, Remote (Alaska-Based Role) Avail a flexible 20–24 hour per week role supporting an Alaska-based outpatient program, entirely remote with guaranteed hours and steady patient flow. Role Overview Setting: Outpatient (virtual telehealth) Hours: Minimum 20 hours/week, up to 24 hours/week Compensation: $30–$38 per hour, dependent on experience Schedule: Flexible within Alaska/Pacific time alignment Licensure: State licensure reimbursement (AK) provided Credentialing: Liability insurance required for insurance credentialing (approx. 8‑week process) Key Responsibilities Provide evidence‑based Medical Nutrition Therapy for outpatient conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, obesity, and general weight management Conduct virtual consultations to assess nutrition needs and create individualized care plans Support clients in lifestyle change, disease management, and sustainable behavior modification Maintain organized and accurate documentation within the EHR system Collaborate with the outpatient team and other clinical staff as needed Participate in non‑patient administrative time (included in scheduled hours) Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited program Active Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credential (RD/RDN) Ability to obtain Alaska state licensure (fees reimbursed) Liability insurance required for credentialing Prior outpatient or clinical experience strongly preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote environment Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems Why Join RD Nutrition Consultants LLC?
