Maintenance Technician

Job Description Title: Maintenance Technician Id: 20898 Type: FullTime Location: Milton, VT Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM Salary Range: $27-$32 per hour Vacancy: Replacement Key Responsibilities Perform basic machine repairs and preventative maintenance for production and facility equipment. Create and complete work orders and enter data into CMMs. Dismantle, move, install and align machinery and plant equipment. Repair, adjust, disassemble, replace parts and reassemble machines, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment to proper operating equipment. Troubleshoot and repair machine problems independently. Liaise with machine/part suppliers and direct sub-trades. Manufacture simple parts from sketches or samples; performs modifications as necessary including the selection of parts and materials. Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies. Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair product machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work order to perform required maintenance and service. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Detect fault operations, defective material and report any unusual situations to the team leader. Perform root cause analysis/troubleshooting/safety and problem-solving of quality errorr. Function as the key technical resource for multiple machining centers for CNC operations. Qualifications High school diploma or high school equivalency required License in a relevant trade preferred 1-3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred 4+ years of relevant work experience in a metal working manufacturing environment Husky TechnologiesTM offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
