This physical therapy role supports multiple elementary school locations in a dynamic, itinerant capacity, engaging with a caseload of approximately 40 students. Develop your skills in a supportive school environment, collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to help students reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license through the Florida Department of Health
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to travel between multiple schools (PK-12) within assigned region
• Fingerprinting through AHCA Clearinghouse required; prior district fingerprint clearance transferable, if available
• Commitment to on-site work—virtual/remote options are not available

What to Expect:

• Provide physical therapy services for a diverse student population, primarily elementary-aged
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within IEP frameworks
• Work closely with teachers, families, and school staff to facilitate student growth and mobility
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to optimize participation
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with all state and district guidelines
• Support students across multiple campuses on an established part-time schedule (22.5 hours weekly)
