Embark on a dynamic contract role as a physical therapist within a vibrant educational setting near the beautiful Santa Rosa Beach area. This opportunity entails serving students in multiple schools on an itinerant basis throughout the academic year. With a focus on elementary-age children, you'll play an integral part in supporting student mobility, development, and physical well-being across a diverse caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Florida Department of Health PT license (active and in good standing)
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly elementary levels, preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to efficiently manage an itinerant schedule across multiple PK–12 campuses
• Completion of school district fingerprinting and background checks (valid AHCA Clearinghouse prints may be transferable)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for a caseload of around 40 students
• Deliver on-site physical therapy services to support functional access and participation within the educational environment
• Document progress, communicate with educators and families, and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings as needed
• Travel to and from assigned school sites as part of a supported itinerant structure
• Ensure compliance with district and state regulations for student care

This contract position offers part-time hours (22.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day) running from August to early June. You will experience the reward of watching students gain new skills and independence, as well as the flexibility and variety that comes with working across multiple sites.
