Music Therapist | Legacy Lifecare VNA/Hospice
$50/per visit 
PRN | 5-20hrs per week | Flexible Daytime Hours

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Deliver individual music therapy sessions tailored to patient preferences and goals
• Use music to address relaxation, pain management, emotional processing, developmental support, and end-of-life/bereavement needs
• Collaborate with patients, family members and other team members to align with the patient's overall care plan
• German Center (West Roxbury), ANRC (Jamaica Plain), Stone (Newton), BCL/Kaplan (Peabody) Revere, East Boston, Everett, Malden, Chelsea, and Winthrop.

Qualifications for Success:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in music, education, human services, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience working with end-of life patients, or in a long-term care setting preferred
• Experience performing music in healthcare, senior living, hospice, or community settings.
• Experience working with older adults, individuals with dementia, or patients receiving palliative or end-of-life care.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
