Job Description

As a Security Officer Childrens Center in Bronx NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents behavioral health-related concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings entrances common areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity assist with directions and site information and report unauthorized access suspicious activity and/or facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports patrol logs and other required documentation while maintaining professionalism confidentiality and respect for patient privacy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
