Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Join a nation-wide primary care organization dedicated to serving the geriatric population. We are seeking experienced professionals for our Philadelphia locations. Our Reading site requires Spanish proficiency.

This is a full-time permanent position with a 4-6 week orientation/training period. Benefits include stock options, extensive PTO, a large CME stipend, malpractice coverage, and a 401k with match available from day one.

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (no nights or weekends)
• Patient Load: 12-16 patients per day once fully ramped up (may start lower if new site)
• Patient Demographics: Primarily Medicare (over age 65) with some Medicaid, up to 25% under age 65
• Collaborative Care Team: 1 MD, APP, Scribe, MA, Shared RN/Social Work support
• Specialty Support: Partnership with a telemedicine company for quick specialist consultations
• EMR System: Utilizes EPIC, with scribes managing documentation. Advanced algorithms help predict patient follow-up needs and have reduced hospitalizations by 54%.
• Call Schedule: Rotated amongst the NY market, approximately 1 week every 3 months. Calls are limited and 100% remote, supported by a call center.

Requirements

• Board Certification Required
• State License Required
• Residency Training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Required
• Fellowship in Geriatrics preferred
• Previous primary care or skilled nursing facility/nursing home experience preferred, but not required
• No new graduates
