Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Ultimate Staffing is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate ( Temp to Hire) to join a company in Irvine,CA.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM , with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. This is a temporary assignment expected to continue through year-end, with the possibility of becoming a permanent opportunity. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour .

Primary Duties

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all paperwork and records are completed accurately.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, labeling, and coordinating carrier pickups.
• Receive incoming inventory and materials, verify quantities and condition, and enter information into tracking systems.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock audits, and discrepancy research.
• Work closely with internal departments to address shipping delays, inventory questions, and order-related issues.
• Utilize shipping platforms, inventory software, and ERP systems to maintain accurate records and transaction data.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
• Provide support with general warehouse, inventory, and facility-related projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
• Comfortable working with ERP software, shipping platforms, and Microsoft Office applications; NetSuite experience is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
• Capable of safely lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Able to remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the workday.
