General Manager 4 - Food

Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4, Food to lead our dining operations at  Fort Hudson Nursing Center , a skilled care and independent living facility serving approximately 280 residents. Fort Hudson is located along the Hudson River in Washington County, Fort Edward, New York , which offers a blend of historic significance, scenic beauty, and small-town charm. Located just 20 to 25 minutes from both Lake George and Saratoga Springs, Fort Hudson. What You'll Do:

• have oversight of daily dining operations (decentralized dining, dining room service, adult day care and PACE program);
• deliver high-quality food service;
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals (fee account);
• develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships;
• develop strategic plans;
• create a positive environment; and
• ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

What You Bring:

• five or more years of previous food service management experience at a director/ general manager level, ideally in a healthcare environment; 
• a work history demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to work collaboratively;
• the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
• the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
• working knowledge of Food Management Systems and proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
