Billing Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC

Compensation: $65-70k

Manage high-volume, end-to-end billing for approximately 6,000 customers across commercial and E-Rate accounts.

Process accurate invoices, billing adjustments, order entry, cash application, and resolve billing discrepancies.

Work closely with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Collections, and Customer Care to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Maintain detailed billing records and ensure transactions comply with internal policies, contracts, and applicable requirements.

For the Senior role, manage E-Rate billing, including funding commitments, reimbursement tracking, documentation, reconciliations, and audit readiness.

Monitor billing schedules and ensure invoices align with approved funding, contract terms, and service milestones.

Investigate and resolve customer billing issues while providing strong phone and email communication.

Utilize systems including Salesforce and NBS while leveraging strong ERP/system and technical skills.

Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where attention to detail, organization, and urgency are critical.

Senior-level candidates should bring 5+ years of billing experience, with government contracting and E-Rate knowledge strongly preferred.
