Position Summary Job Description SUMMARY: Keep the premises of building, internal and or external in clean and orderly condition. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick-up, sweep & mop assigned areas.
• Empty trash cans in assigned areas.
• Empty steel bins and/or scrap bins in assigned areas.
• Wipe down & clean cabinets, desk, etc, in assigned areas.
• Wipe down & clean machinery in assigned areas.
• Keep maintenance closet picked up & in proper order.
• Make sure all dirty mop heads are put in proper location.
• Report any malfunction or problems with the rider & walk behind floor scrubbers to supervisor.
• Keep all shop corners picked-up & cleaned.
• Keep area behind all shop machines picked-up & cleaned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge, recognition, care and use of all equipment pertinent to the job requirements.
• Begin and complete a project with a minimum of supervision.
• Flexibility to change routines.
• Must have good attendance and be dependable.
• Be at your workstation ready to work at assigned time.
• Be a team player, but also be able to work alone.
• Must have consideration for all team members.
• Be a willing learner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Must be able to pass background/drug tests.
