Advanced Rx is a compounding pharmacy in Fort Washington, PA, and we're hiring a full-time pharmacist. Pay is $120,000+ per year, plus a $1,200 bonus opportunity.Here is the breakdown of the position. It has three main parts:Verification of prescriptionsCounseling patients over the phoneSpeaking to prescribers' offices regarding clarifications, etc. This is a phone-forward role. Our call queue gets busy at times, where calls often run back-to-back. Our patients are grateful for our help, and some may require additional counseling. The ability to remain calm and supportive is a must. We track workflow and verification metrics primarily to ensure the workload is fair and evenly shared across the team. You'll get regular feedback and support from leadership, and we'll genuinely want yours in return. Our pharmacists share the schedule and look out for each other, so a team-first mindset matters here.If that sounds like your kind of work, we think you'll be happy here. We're a small business, so decisions are made with employees in mind, and we can pivot when a change makes sense (no corporate red tape!). Real scheduled lunch breaks, very few weekend hours, no 12–14-hour shifts, and we're closed Sundays and all major holidays with holiday pay. Compounding experience isn't required - you'll get extensive training and support during onboarding, plus access to all of our clinical and process information.What we need from you: An active PA pharmacist license1 year of experience as a practicing pharmacistGenuine enjoyment of talking with patientsSharp attention to detailCoachabilitySolid computer skillsThe shift is 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with availability until 8:00 PM only when needed to finish up the day. We also have an 11 AM-3 PM Saturday Rotation every 4-6 weeks.
