Overview:

Sentara RMH Behavioral Health Center is now hiring a Sr. Behavioral Health Therapist for a newly established Adolescent partial hospitalization program. This position will assume responsibility accountability and leadership for the daily operations including coordination of work quality and service for Licensed and Non-Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist and Care Transition staff on the SRMH inpatient psychiatric unit/department.

Education

Masters Degree Social Work Counseling or other related field

Certification/Licensure

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Experience

• At least 3 years of outpatient or inpatient experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversight and auditing of assessments treatment plans progress notes and discharge plans occurs according to a structured plan identifying and logging patient records reviewed deficiencies identified and corrective actions to address.
• Assists clinical manager at assigned sites with scheduling annual evaluations competency development recruitment and orientation of therapy staffs .
• Develops and ensures high quality therapy programming for inpatient and outpatient sites.
• Participates in the work activities of assigned teams and provides social service discharge planning and therapy services as needed.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $84947.20 - $123468.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials on-call pay shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted it is based on a full-time colleague working 2080 hours annually.
