This is an in-office position./ppHas minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by Job Description/Role./ph3Key Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliProvides daily leadership and supervision to team consistent with management values and mission./liliAssigns, distributes, and monitors quality and quantity of work produced, ensuring employees are held accountable for consistently meeting quality and production requirements./liliDevelops staff through performance management, goal setting, training, and effective employee relations./liliParticipates in national organizational initiatives representing the Retirement Benefits Operations organization and assigned office(s)./liliCommunicates and implements changes in policies, procedures, and Plan guidelines. Ensures applicable training is delivered to support operational execution./liliOversees the processing of retirement benefit applications, calculations, and payments in accordance with Plan documents and regulatory requirements./liliConducts unit meetings on a regular basis to discuss updates and changes that affect operations such as new procedures, policies, or updates to Plan guidelines./liliProvides status and production reports on processing metrics or applications status, as needed./liliMay perform final quality review of unusual or complicated retirement benefit calculations and balancing of monthly benefit payments./liliMay assist in the resolution of escalated calls or questions./liliMay attend Board of Trustee meetings to provide operational updates./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school diploma or GED./liliFour years of experience working in retirement benefits./liliWorking knowledge of defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401(k) plans and benefits administration systems./liliExceptional team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly./liliProven ability to recruit, lead, and motivate a team to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills./liliExceptional analytical and problem resolution skills; ability to exercise independent, sound judgment./liliStrong decision-making and organizational skills, with an attention to detail and the ability to optimize all available resources and deliver on multiple priorities./liliAbility to effectively manage remote employees in diverse locations./liliMust be willing to travel as business dictates./liliComputer proficiency including Microsoft Office tools and applications./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliPrior experience in a supervisory or lead role./liliExperience working in a third-party administrator or Taft-Hartley environment./liliWork experience related to quality control or process improvement./li/ulh3Working Conditions/Physical Effort/h3ulliProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer./liliRegular travel that may be overnight./liliMay be required to work remotely./liliMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times./li/ulh3Disability Accommodation/h3pConsistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable federal and state law, it is the policy of Zenith American Solutions to provide reasonable accommodation when requested by a qualified applicant or employee with a disability, unless such accommodation would cause an undue hardship.
