Part-Time Custodian

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Pay: $17.54/hour
Schedule: Part-Time, 5 Days Per Week (Approximately 2–3 Hours Daily)

Our client is a respected organization dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing and services to low-income residents in the Harrisburg community. They are seeking a dependable Part-Time Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming office environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms
Vacuum offices and common areas
Sweep and mop floors
Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Clean and maintain breakroom areas
Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces
Empty trash and recycling receptacles
Perform general office cleaning and housekeeping duties
Ensure restrooms are cleaned, stocked, and ready for the upcoming work week

Qualifications

Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to lift and carry 15–50 pounds
Ability to understand and follow directions in English
Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License required
Flexible schedule to accommodate cleaning priorities and trash removal needs
Schedule Details
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: Approximately 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Tuesday & Friday: Approximately 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Hours may be adjusted for the right candidate. Flexibility is important, particularly on Fridays when trash removal and restroom cleaning must be completed before the weekend.
