The ideal candidates will deliver specialized instructional services to support students with visual impairments in achieving academic and functional success. Job Quick Facts Specialty: Teacher of Visually Impaired Facility Type: School Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, Specific schedule TBC Requirements Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (Texas) Bachelor's degree or higher Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive functional vision and learning media assessments to determine educational impact. Provide direct instruction and implement appropriate material adaptations to support academic access. Recommend, implement, and support assistive technology solutions for students with visual impairments. Collaborate with Orientation & Mobility specialists and classroom teachers to ensure coordinated service delivery.
