TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Dubuque, Iowa, 52001!

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 36 months of nursing experience in Med Surg or similar specialties. License: Active Iowa or compact multistate nursing license. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - NIHSS certification (preferred) Must-Have: - Minimum of 36 months of nursing experience, including EPIC EMR experience. - Comfort caring for patients with stroke, cardiovascular conditions, COPD, congestive heart failure, and COVID. - Work history must include 24 months of current Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele, IMCU, PCU, or Stepdown experience. - Must have a professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a medical surgical setting. The position follows a night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to a diverse patient population. Patient ratios are 1:5. The unit emphasizes care for patients with diagnoses such as stroke, congestive heart failure, and COVID. Contractors may be required to work holidays based on unit needs. Strong comfort level with caring for surgical patients is necessary. Candidates will need to demonstrate experience with EPIC as an electronic medical record system. This role requires working weekends on an every other weekend basis.
