The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) will provide structured, clinically appropriate individual and group therapy to an adult inpatient correctional population on a full-time day shift schedule totaling 40 hours per week. The clinician will conduct mental health assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and screenings to identify treatment needs and develop individualized treatment plans, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, suicide risk assessments, and collaboration with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, correctional staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate comprehensive behavioral health services. Additional duties encompass addressing presenting concerns such as trauma, substance use disorders, severe mental illness, and adjustment-related challenges within the correctional setting.
