Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in high-tech electronics manufacturing, SMT/PCBA, QMS, audits, and compliance. The ideal candidate will drive quality standards, inspections, corrective actions, audits, and product/process qualification while supporting manufacturing and customer quality requirements.

Job Title: Quality Engineer 4
Location: Milpitas, CA

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality standards, inspection, testing, and evaluation methods.
Manage QMS activities, quality audits, and compliance requirements.
Investigate quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions to closure.
Manage discrepant material and recommend appropriate disposition.
Analyze and report quality and reliability data.
Support product, process, and equipment qualification activities.
Review defects, returned products, and quality reports and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain quality documentation, procedures, and training materials.
Support customer quality issues and cross-functional quality initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in high-tech electronics manufacturing.
Strong experience with QMS and quality audits.
5+ years of compliance experience.
Hands-on experience with SMT, PCB Assembly/PCBA.
Experience with quality inspection, testing, sampling, and data analysis.
Strong knowledge of corrective action, root cause analysis, and quality procedures.
Experience with regulatory/safety standards.
ASQ CQE or equivalent certification is preferred
