Associate Custom Product Design Engineer

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Associate Custom Product Design Engineer to develop assembly drawings, bill-of-materials, and customized designs for upstream bioprocessing products. The role involves 2D/3D CAD modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and design documentation for manufacturing transfer in Duncan, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Create and detail assembly drawings and bill-of-materials using 2D/3D CAD modeling systems
- Collaborate with commercial and engineering teams to develop designs meeting product requirements
- Ensure complete documentation for successful manufacturing and supply chain transfer
- Provide quotations for customized designs and process product releases via ECR/ECO
- Review design work of team members for layout, fit, function, and specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science-based discipline, or related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant design experience and CAD tool proficiency
- Excellent communication and demonstrated team coordination skills
- Ability to manage complex projects with risk assessment and contingency planning
- Customer-centric problem-solving with ability to translate requirements internally
Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 base, plus eligible bonus/incentive pay
